The Earthwise Group Donates Windows for Missionary Home in Togo, Africa
The Earthwise Group LLC, a national network of locally owned, independent manufacturers of windows and doors, recently donated 24 Earthwise windows for a new home that is being built for missionaries doing work in Togo, Africa. The missionary home is being built on the site of a future first-of-its-kind aquaponics project. The food from the aquaponic system will help feed the clients and staff at a center for the blind.
The aquaponics system will also teach villagers from the surrounding areas how to create sustainable food-producing systems for themselves and their families. Construction for Worldwide Evangelism is overseeing the project. “The center being built in Togo will make a noticeable difference in the quality of life for so many people in the region,” said Mark Davis, executive director, the Earthwise Group, LLC.
“The windows being donated by an Earthwise member will provide the new home with a quality, longlasting and energy-efficient window solution. At Earthwise, we are thrilled that we could contribute to this worthy project.”
Drawing from the strength of its member companies, The Earthwise Group is at the forefront of meeting and exceeding industry demand for windows and doors that balance form, function and energy efficiency. Products produced by Earthwise Group members consistently meet and exceed the rigorous standards set by Energy Star, the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC), and the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA).
Earthwise manufacturing facilities cover the majority of the eastern half of the United States, and continue to grow.
